Thanksgiving Blessing

Even as we express our gratitude for God’s good gifts,
We receive the gift of gratitude itself;
Pressed down and overflowing.

Let us seek the way of pure kindness…
In the name of the Father.

Let us shut the door on anxiety…
In the name of Jesus.

Let us remember beauty…
In the name of the Holy Spirit.

Even as we express our gratitude for God’s good gifts,
We receive the gift of gratitude itself;
Pressed down and overflowing…
Pressed down and overflowing.

Amen

Seeking the way of pure kindness is a lovely way to live and one sure to please the Holy Trinity...

Thank you for the "poem of gratitude."

May your Thanksgiving be "pressed down and overflowing..."

For me, “the way of pure kindness” is an alternate wording for “the Kingdom of God”. This was the blessing spoken over our congregation at last night’s Thanksgiving Eve candlelight service.

Thank you for your kind words, Esther.
